Walk In Consultation Service (WICS)

To support the wider system and our patients in Cornwall, Cornwall LPC has secured funding from Kernow CCG for a self referral walk in service in Cornwall. The service will be managed via Pharmoutcomes, and you will find it under ‘Cornwall Walk In’ under your service list on Pharmoutcomes.Patients will be able to self refer or be informally referred by another healthcare provider or identified as suitable whilst in the pharmacy. The service must be delivered by a Pharmacist and a consultation must be made in the consultation room with access to Pharmoutcomes to complete in the moment as it will support the consultation with reg flags etc.For each completed consultation there is a fee of £14 payable to the Pharmacy, if a PGD is accessed that is on top of the consultation fee. There is a single £100 sign up fee for each Pharmacy, to access this you must have read the service specification and watched the short (7 min) webinar.Please find below the full Service Specification and link to the Service Webinar which must be watched.
